DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
The Housing Authority of the City of New Britain is seeking a highly skilled, motivated professional individual to work as our Director of Operations for the Maintenance Department. Under the leadership of the Executive Director, the Director of Operations serves as a key business partner and member of the executive management team and assumes a strategic role in the overall management of the maintenance department and capital planning of the Operations of the Housing Authority of the City of New Britain, (“Authority”). The Director of Operations will have the primary responsibility to plan, implement, manage the Authority’s portfolio of properties and services and ensures all programs are properly operated in compliance with applicable State, HUD, Federal and Local regulations and Board policies within budget. The responsibilities will include preparation of policies, procedures and reports. Must work effectively and efficiently to provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Executive Director in accomplishing the Authority’s housing goals and objectives as well as achieving and sustaining Public Housing Assessment Scores (PHAS) and customary client satisfaction.

Property and Program Coordinator – New Britain Center of Excellence
The Housing Authority of the City of New Britain is seeking a highly skilled, motivated professional individual to work at our New Britain Center of Excellence. The candidate will work closely with the Executive Director in the daily operation of The New Britain Center of Excellence alongside the Housing Authority’s Operations team, and will also work to build relationships with new and existing tenants leasing space in the Center. Tenant Management responsibilities such as developing relationships with the tenants. Develop, coordinate and facilitate programing related to education, job training and readiness, youth development etc. in line with HUD guidelines.
