The Housing Authority of the City of New Britain (NBHA) Connecticut is responsible for the development, maintenance, and management of all public housing developments in the City of New Britain, CT with oversight and funding provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to acquire services from a Co-Developer to be the Development Partner with NBHA in the redevelopment of Mt. Pleasant and the Elderly and Bond Street Developments. The NBHA is utilizing a variety of approaches including but not limited to, mixed-finance, mixed-income approach, or Rental Assistance Demonstration Program (RAD). NBHA may, in its sole discretion, change the properties to be redeveloped or add additional development sites to be developed by the Co-Developer selected through this solicitation process.
The Request for Proposals Package, comprised of the instructions and requirements governing this solicitation process, as well as the scope of services to be performed, and other pertinent information, may be downloaded on NBHA’s website at www.nbhact.org. All firms must provide an email address where all subsequent communications from NBHA will be sent.

Sealed responses (an original and five (5) copies, plus a flash drive) are to be delivered no later than 3:00 P.M. EST on January 12, , 2023, to John T. Hamilton, Housing Authority of the City of New Britain 16 Armistice Street, New Britain, CT 06053. Responses will be evaluated and scored based on the criteria set forth in the RFP.
