ROSS Program

Resident Opportunities & Self Sufficiency is the entry point of Resident Services. Staff work with new and existing residents to connect them to training opportunities and supportive services, based on their individual needs and circumstances. Support and guidance is offered to help residents realize their educational, health, financial and career goals.

The ROSS Coordinator is actively engaged with the New Britain community, state and local government, and public/private partners, to create a suite of complementary services resulting in increased self-sufficiency and improved life outcomes for residents.

Programming focuses on:
•Life-skills
•Navigating the multiple stages of employment (including career advancement)
•Family services
•Health and wellness
•Financial literacy
•The general well-being of residents
