Portable Housing Authority Payments

This Portable HA Payment Portal is a secure way for public housing authorities (PHA) in partnership with the NBHA by way of portability to access a history of all portability payments made by the NBHA to your PHA for each client utilizing their voucher in your jurisdiction. In order to access this portal, you will need your PHA code (example, CT005 is NBHA’s PHA Code) which will be your User Name. Your password is the last 4 digits of your PHA’s Tax ID number. Payment history prior to 7/3/2020 will not be accessible online but is available by request by calling (860) 225-3534.
Waiting List Position and Info Update Portal
Special Notice: *The Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Waiting List is currently closed.* Accurate information is important and keeping your contact information current is the sole responsibility of the applicant.
This Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Portal is a secure way for current applicants on the Section 8 waiting list to view your position number. It is common to see your position number change frequently. Changes in your position number are due to multiple factors, such as changes made to applicant preferences, waiting list purges, etc.
In order to access this portal, you will need to input your last name, which will be your User Name. Your password is the last 4 digits of your social security number.
Tenant Repayment Balance Portal
Special Notice: Repayment Agreements that are in default over 60 days may lead to termination of housing choice voucher benefits.
If you have an active Section 8 Repayment Agreement with the NBHA, the Tenant Repayment Balance Portal is a secure online tool to view a history of all payments and your remaining balance due to the NBHA. In order to access this portal, you will need to input the Head of Household’s Last Name, which will be your User Name. Your password is the last 4 digits of your social security number. Payment history prior to 7/3/2020 will not be accessible online but is available by request by calling (860) 225-3534.
